Estancia Huerta Real Hotel & Restaurante

Huerta Real offers you the possibility of enjoying some very agreeable days of rest and contact with nature, or —and why not? — the opportunity to work in a tranquil and cozy atmosphere.

The hotel is located in a large family orchard that has been producing fruits of the region for over 50 years. Bit by bit this orchard has been changing until it has become converted into a hotel with all the necessary conveniences. It has become recognized by its many guests for the following:

  1. Excellent personalized service
  2. The only hotel in Mazamitla that offers the tranquility of the country and, at the same time, the proximity to the village (just five blocks from the plaza).
  3. Its unrivalled vistas of the village and surroundings. On clear days it is possible to see the two Colima volcanoes.

Come and enjoy, with whomever you wish, the town of Mazamitla, a privileged spot that has been turned into one of Jalisco's finest tourist destinations, and most recently added to the famous list of "Magical Villages."

    • 133 kilometers from Guadalajara
    • Coming from Guadalajara by way of the extension of Calle Lopez Mateos, despues del 40, take the old highway to Jiquilpan, passing Jocotepec, San Luis Soyatlan, and at Tuxcueca take the highway to your right. From here it is 40 kilometers to Mazamitla.
    • Coming from the airport, take the highway to Chapala, then the short cut to La Floresta (not going through the town of Chapala). Follow this lakeside road to Jocotepec, continuing to San Luis Soyatlan and Tuxcueca, where you take the road to the right to Mazamitla (40 km).
    • From Colima, take the toll road to Guadalajara until the exit to Tuxpan. From there take the road toward Tamazula-Mazamitla.

Mazamitla is located at 2200 meters above sea level. The climate has been classified as semi-desert with winter and spring semi-hot and without a defined winter season.  The average yearly temperature is 70 degrees. The average number of yearly days with frost is 52.6.

Constant rains from June to September and there is a probability of rain in January as well.

We suggest at any time of year that you bring a sweater and a jacket since the temperatures drop at night and in the early mornings.

Bring shoes and comfortable clothing (jeans, hiking boots, or tennis shoes.) and if you tend to be chilly, bring an extra jacket and warm night wear.

During the rainy season, we suggest rainwear and extra changes of clothing.
